If you or a staff member is in need of an introduction to or an update on talking about/teaching adolescents sexual health, TPPP’s Sexual Health 101 is the training to attend!  PARENTS are welcome!  This year we are holding our annual fall training at Columbia Boone County Health Department on Friday, September 20th.  Please click here for a registration form.

The training will be lively and will include topics such as Reproductive Anatomy and Physiology, Adolescent Development, Today’s Contraceptives, Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections (what’s new, what’s to worry about, and treatments), Tips for Talking to Teens, Handling Parents’ Concerns, LGBT Issues, and What Works.  The variety of experts teaching this will take you from awkward to awesome!
